What Can I Sell?
Items you wish to sell must have an estimated eBay value of $50 and weigh less than 100 pounds. There are exceptions for some large items that we don’t have to store. If you are not sure, please call ahead before dropping off your items. For ideas on what to sell, click here.

Do I leave my stuff with you?
All items must be left at the store. Just drop them off and we will sell and ship the item(s) to the winning buyer.
How long does the process take?
Items will be listed one-two weeks within receipt. This timeframe depends on the day of the week the item is received. To generate the most exposure, items are only listed to start on certain days. Items are listed for 7 days to maximize bidding interest. Items that have time constraints such as tickets; will be listed to meet the appropriate deadline. Under normal circumstances, customers can expect to receive their check 25-35 days after the item is dropped off.
What if my item doesn't sell?
The majority of items will sell during the initial seven day period. We will evaluate your items and determine the best way to market your item either through a live auction, best offer, eBay store or Buy Now to maximize your profit. If your item doesn't sell, you will be notified via e-mail or phone; and you will have the option of re-listing the item, picking the item up within 10 days of auction close or donating the item to charity. In the rare case when items do not sell you will be charged a nominal fee of $4.00 per item plus eBay listing fees.
What if an item sells below the required $50 value?
There are no guarantees on the final bid price for any item. Jiffy Drop will charge a minimum commission of $18.00 on all listed items. It is in our best interest to achieve the highest price possible for all items we list, and we will take every measure possible to make that happen.
Can I set a minimum selling price for my auction?
Yes. Listings requiring an opening bid above $0.99; or a Buy Now auction will require an up-front fee of $15.00 which will be credited towards Jiffy Drop’s commission when the item sells.
When can I expect to receive my check?
Typically, you will receive a check within 25-35 days from the date you dropped off your item. The time frame will be affected by how quickly the winning bidder pays for the item. Once the item is sold, payment is received, the item is shipped, the buyer receives and confirms, we will send you a check.
Why do you recommend a starting bid of $0.99 versus a stated minimum?
Based on past performance, selecting a $0.99 starting price usually results in a higher selling price due to more interest from buyers. We are legally obligated to accept the final bid price for every item listed, even if it sells for less than you think it is worth. Customers can set a minimum value, but there will be an up-front fee of $15.00, which will be credited towards our commission when the item sells.
